Subprocessors

Last updated 17 August 2026.

The short version. Eleven companies, and you can see what each one is for below. Four are unavoidable because they are the app itself — the host, the database, the AI, and the check that your email address is real. The rest only get involved if you switch on the feature that needs them. None of them is an advertiser or a data broker, and none of them is paid in data.

These are every company that can touch data you keep in Chirpy. Anything marked optional is only involved if you switch that feature on. Anything marked sees your IP is contacted by your own browser rather than by our servers, so that company sees the address you are connecting from — all of them are the weather panel, and none of them is told who you are.

We will add a new provider here before it starts handling your data, and note it in the app's What's New.

One thing that isn't on the list

When you save a shopping link to a wishlist, Chirpy visits that shop page to read the title, picture and price. The shop is not our provider and gets nothing about you — the visit comes from our servers, not your browser, and carries only the address you pasted. If you ask for a price check that needs the AI, Anthropic fetches the page instead, from their systems.

What we don't use

No advertising networks, no analytics trackers, no data brokers. We do not sell or share your personal information, and our agreement with our AI provider forbids training on your content. That is why Chirpy shows no cookie banner — see the cookies section of the Privacy Policy.
